Ben Watson celebrates his winning goal in the 2013 FA Cup Final for Wigan Athletic

After knocking out two Premier League sides in this season’s Emirates FA Cup, Wigan Athletic will get another chance to cause an upset in the fifth round.

The Latics, having already seen off AFC Bournemouth and West Ham United at the DW Stadium, will now host top-flight leaders Manchester City after Monday’s fifth round draw.

And the tie will evoke special memories for all Wigan fans, as it’s a repeat of 2013’s FA Cup Final when the Lancashire club enjoyed the finest day in its history.

Robert Martinez’s side were seen as rank outsiders against a star-studded City team in the build-up.

But after matching Roberto Mancini’s men on the pitch, they ensured a thrilling end to the Final when substitute Ben Watson ghosted into the box in stoppage time to flick a header past Joe Hart and ensure Wigan took the Cup home.

FATV caught up with Watson to look back at that day and you can see the feature by clicking play in the image above.
