Fleetwood Town and Burton Albion have to be two of English football’s fairy stories.
Twelve years ago Burton were a Northern Premier League side but yesterday stood on the verge of getting into the third tier of English football for the first time in their history.
The rise of Fleetwood is even more incredible, yesterday’s League Two Play-Off Final win at Wembley was their sixth promotion in just nine seasons.
The success of both sides has largely been a result of the hard work and determination of their Chairmen, Fleetwood’s Andy Pilley and Burton’s Ben Robinson.
