Scoring the winning goal in The FA Cup with Budweiser Final was a dream come true for Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey after his extra-time strike broke Hull City hearts at Wembley.

After the Gunners had come back from two goals behind, the Welshman popped up to fire home with the match poised at 2-2 to end the Premier League side's nine-year wait for a piece of silverware.

He said: “I'm struggling to speak, I'm actually getting quite emotional now.

“We've done that a few times in the big games this year, conceded early on, but we came back.

“We showed courage, strength and character to come back and to win and to score the winner is something I've dreamed of for many, many years.

“It is definitely up there with the most important goals strikes of my career. And hopefully this will be the first of many. More trophies in years to come.

"The manager and the players have been under a lot of pressure in the last couple of years and this is for the fans and the manager who has believed in us all along.

“I'm getting emotional and I am not an emotional guy.”
