The former Tottenham Hotspur stopper heads to Carrow Road to link up with Neil Adams’ men, after leaving a similar role at White Hart Lane earlier this summer.
Parks worked for The FA as a National Coach for six years, when he played a key role on the coaching staff of England’s development squads at U16, U17, U19 and Under-21s level working with the likes of Joe Hart, Ben Amos and Jason Steele.
He was named as the goalkeeper coach of the year in 2013 at The FA Licensed Coaches’ Club Award following his work under both Harry Redknapp and Andre Villas-Boas at Spurs since 2008, where he has worked with Hugo Lloris, Brad Friedel, Heurelho Gomes and Carlo Cudicini.
And he replaces another Three Lions keeper coach Dave Watson, who left Carrow Road to join Southampton earlier this summer.
Speaking about the addition of Parks to his staff, Adams said: “Tony is a vastly experienced coach who played at the highest level with Tottenham.
“I saw Tony work during his time at The FA and was very impressed with what I saw, and he will fill the hole left by Dave’s departure perfectly.”
Hackney-born Parks had a long career as a player, starting out with Spurs where his most memorable moment came in the 1984 UEFA Cup Final against Anderlecht where he proved their match-winner in a penalty shoot-out.
He went on to represent the likes of Brentford and Falkirk before moving into coaching.
The 51-year-old has linked up with Norwich in their pre-season campaign, which began at St. George’s Park earlier this month.
