Blades to face Premier League opposition in Fourth Round

Sheffield United’s reward for their FA Cup Third Round win at Aston Villa is tie against another Premier League outfit after they were drawn against Fulham.

The Fourth Round draw was made by cousins Martin and Paul Allen and there were only six definite ties from the initial draw – Bolton Wanderers v Cardiff City, Southampton v Yeovil Town, Southend United v Hull City, Arsenal v Coventry City, Chelsea v Stoke City and Stevenage v Everton.

Rochdale, surprise 2-0 victors over Leeds on Saturday, will host Sheffield Wednesday, while FA Cup holders Wigan Athletic will entertain Crystal Palace.

After a crushing 5-0 win over West Ham United, Nottingham Forest were handed another home tie against either Preston North End.

Meanwhile, AFC Bournemouth will play host to Premier League giants Liverpool.

The Fourth Round ties will take place over the weekend of Saturday 25 January.
