Nathaniel Clyne won his second cap against Scotland
Nathaniel Clyne, a right-back in his third season at Southampton, made it into the England senior team in 2014 after being capped previously for the U19s and Under-21s.
A pacey defender who has chalked up more than 70 Premier League appearances for the Saints, Clyne was called into the squad for England’s October matches with San Marino and Estonia but was an unused substitute for both.
Roy Hodgson chose him in the starting line-up against Slovenia in the European Qualifier at Wembley in November and his second senior cap came three days later as England achieved another 3-1 victory in a friendly against Scotland in Glasgow.
