Robin van Persie's goal against West Ham has attracted over 500,000 views
Robin van Persie’s added-time equaliser against West Ham in January was the fourth most viewed FATV clip of the year.
With Manchester United trailing the Hammers in The FA Cup with Budweiser Third Round tie, the Dutchman latched onto Ryan Giggs’ long ball forward, took two touches to compose himself before rifling a right-foot shot past Jussi Jaaskelainen.
This goal earned the 11-time winners a replay at Old Trafford which they won 1-0.
Van Persie leaves it late
The clip has been viewed over 530,000 times on FATV’s official FA Cup YouTube page.
United will entertain Swansea City in this season’s Third Round, while West Ham will travel to Nottingham Forest.
