Crawley Town and Bristol Rovers to go again in January

The rain keeps coming at Broadfield Stadium

Crawley Town's FA Cup Second Round replay at home to Bristol Rovers has been rescheduled for Saturday 4 January.

After the two sides drew 0-0 in the original fixture at the Memorial Ground on 7 December, they met again in the replay on Wednesday night.

However, once again they couldn't be separated. With the scores level at 0-0, referee Stuart Attwell was forced to abandon the game after 75 minutes due to the torrential rain that waterlogged the pitch at Broadfield Stadium.

“The referee has got it right.”

They'll go again on the first Saturday in 2014, which is also Third Round weekend.

It therefore means the winning team's visit to Birmingham City in the next stage will be moved to Tuesday 7 January.
