COVID-19 – EMERGENCY CHANGES TO FA REGULATIONS

Following the impact of COVID-19, decisions have been made by The FA to bring an end to the season at Steps 3 – 6 of the National League System and Tiers 3 – 6 of the Women’s Football Pyramid, which require emergency changes to FA Regulations for the 2020/2021 season.

The documents below set out these changes:

National League System Regulations and Standardised Rules

Women's Football Pyramid and Standard Code of Rules

Changes have been made to the National League System Regulations and Standardised Rules for Steps 3 to 6 of the National League System, and the Women’s Football Pyramid Regulations and the Standard Code of Rules for Tiers 3 – 6 of the Women’s Football Pyramid. These changes have been approved by FA Council and are effective immediately.

The relevant leagues will be required to implement the necessary changes made by The FA in relation to the Standardised Rules and the Standard Code of Rules.

Further changes may be made to these Regulations (and other FA Regulations) in due course to implement any further decisions taken by the relevant FA decision making bodies in relation to the 2020/2021 season.
