BIO

The FA Crest

Having been made to wait until she was 28 for her Lionesses debut, Jodie Taylor continues to make up for lost time.

Her first international goals came in the shape of a hat-trick against Australia, on just her fifth appearance, at the 2015 Cyprus Cup – and it wouldn’t be her last.

Taylor became just the third England player to bag a hat-trick at a major tournament when her treble against Scotland at Euro 2017, where she was top scorer, helped catapult her country towards the semi-finals.

And there have been some other big goals along the way, none more so than her cool finish against Canada at the 2015 World Cup which went a long way to booking England’s spot in a first-ever Women’s World Cup semi-final.

The Birkenhead native has plied her trade in five different countries and goals have never been in short supply no matter what continent she is on.
