The FA Women's Awards 2010-11

A view of the room at the 13th Annual FA Women's Awards

The HAC (Honourable Artillery Company) in London played host to the 13th edition of the FA Women’s Football Awards.

Inevitably, in this new ‘FA WSL’ era, many of the awards in the FA-led league were focussed on the ‘nouveau elite’, although the FAWPL’s hot shot Charlton striker Gemma Bryan and Sunderland manager Mick Mulhern were recognised for their achievements too.

Also celebrated was the long service offered by Fay Glover to Nottingham Forest and the wider women’s game in the East Midlands, whilst there was a nod to Gillingham Ladies for the club’s excellent promotional work online, as well.
