The sixth edition, which was staged at the Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, London on Monday 10 May 2004, was presented by Sky Sports’ Jeff Stelling and featured 11 awards in total. It followed the previous Monday’s FA Women’s Cup Final, which was watched by over 2 million people, live on BBC1.

Nationwide Players’ Player Of The Year: Jayne Ludlow (Arsenal)

Nationwide International Player of the Year: Rachel Unitt (Fulham)

Umbro Young Player of the Year: Ann-Marie Heatherson (Charlton Athletic)

Top Scorer National Division: Amanda Barr (Charlton Athletic) 18 goals

Top Scorer Northern Division: Melanie Reay (Sunderland) and Kelly Dean (Oldham Curzon) 18 goals

Top Scorer Southern Division: Charlotte King (Bristol City) 21 goals

Manager of the Year: Keith Boanas (Charlton Athletic)

FA Special Achievement Award: Kath Tranter
