A set of awards that were not officially endorsed by The FA but certainly had FA involvement and backing, with Hope Powell (England Women’s National Team Coach), Kelly Simmons (FA Women’s Football Co-ordinator) and Sylvia Gore (FAWPL Committee Member and FA County Coach/Merseyside Dev Officer) on the judging panel alongside women’s football reporter and co-ordinator of the Women’s Football Phoneline Cathy Gibb.
