What Do You Think?

Mostly about the NZ game but still very insightful. I really think England can win - Japan should be overconfident after their thrashing of Mexico and may give a chance or two early on. England could well hit the mark, as Hope put it, and I can't see Mexico putting many past the Kiwis, especially as sides are at their most dangerous when they're eliminated, so they may very well feel they should go for three points. I'm not sure that winning the group will be an advantege, however. It's rather annoying that Germany play their final game later on and they may well field a weakened team against France and try to finish second to avoid Japan and then the USA. (I'm saying this despite having tickets for the QF in Leverkusen.)By Timbo (22 months ago)
