The FA can confirm that three of its senior management team will be leaving as part of its programme to reprioritise significant investment towards the grassroots and the England teams.

Earlier this year, FA Chairman Greg Dyke challenged the organisation to find £30m to fund these programmes aligned to The FA's new strategic priorities – with a significant amount to come from lowering FA payroll and administration costs.

As a result, Director of Football Services Jonathan Hall, Wembley Stadium Managing Director Roger Maslin and Group Legal Director and Company Secretary Alistair Maclean are all to leave to pursue new challenges.

Martin Glenn, CEO of The FA, said: “A substantial amount of organisation redesign work had already been done prior to my arrival which I have now reviewed and I am ready to make my first decisions.

“After careful consideration of this work I am taking our first step which relates to a change to our top-line management structure. We have taken the decision to combine all Venue Operations under one Director which will be Julie Harrington. 

"Additionally we have decided to combine Group Legal and the Professional Game departments with Football Governance and Regulation, to be led by Darren Bailey.

“These changes will see Jonathan Hall, Roger Maslin and Alistair Maclean leaving The FA Group with our thanks and best wishes.”

Jonathan Hall has decided to leave the FA at the end of July after almost 11 years in order to pursue a new challenge. 

Hall joined the FA in 2004 as Director of Governance and went on to assume broader responsibilities in 2008 as Director of Football Services which involved overseeing both the National Game and Professional Game departments as well as corporate affairs, international relations and customer insight.  

A highly respected figure in sport here and abroad, Hall was the primary lead on many professional game and other stakeholder issues and represented the FA on various key football bodies including the Football Foundation, PGMO and the International Football Association Board.     

Martin Glenn said: "I'd like to thank Jonathan for his contribution and loyalty to the FA over almost 11 years. He is highly respected within the FA and with all our stakeholders both at home and abroad.  

"He has made it clear that he would like to take on a new challenge and I know he will be missed by all those that have worked with him. We all wish him every success for the future."

Jonathan Hall said: "After 11 fantastic years at the FA I have decided the time is right for me to pursue a new challenge. It's been a privilege working at the FA and I'm grateful to everyone for their support and friendship over the years. 

"English football is in very good hands with Martin and everyone else at the FA and I wish them all the very best for the future."  

The FA Board has agreed a revised set of strategic priorities to improve the development of football talent in England. As part of this The FA Board has decided to restructure Wembley and St George’s Park such that all sales, marketing and operational matters are grouped in a different way. 

As a result of this, there is no longer the role of Managing Director Wembley and therefore, accordingly, Roger Maslin will be leaving the Group.

Roger has spent the last 16 years making sure that the new Wembley is a fitting replacement of a beloved national treasure. We can only thank him for his herculean efforts over so many years.

Not a bad legacy for, as he would say, a straightforward lad from Hayling Island, who only wanted to be a fishmonger but who had the privilege of managing a fantastic team at one of the World’s greatest sporting venues.

Roger’s sense of humour will be missed by all and we wish Roger, Connie and their menagerie well for the future.

It has today been announced that Alistair Maclean, Group Legal Director and Company Secretary is leaving The FA.

Greg Dyke: "As the organisation's first Group Legal Director, Ali has done a great job for The FA.  He has overseen the organisation's legal and corporate governance matters over a long period which has seen The FA move to Wembley Stadium, the opening of St. George's Park and the integration of the Group.  

"Ali leaves on 15th July and on behalf of the Board and the Senior Management Team I would like to thank Ali for his consistent and dedicated efforts and wish him every success for the future.   

Alistair said: "I have spent over a quarter of my life working for The FA Group.  It has been a privilege to grapple with the high profile and diverse range of complex legal and corporate governance issues that the organisation has faced.  

"I've worked alongside four Chairmen and five Chief Executives and learnt a huge amount from the Group Boards, The FA Council and all of my colleagues. Seeing the opening of St. George's Park, which was the culmination of a massive team effort that I was proud to lead on, will be a difficult moment to top in my career.  

"I would like to thank everyone who has helped me along the way and in particular my dedicated team.  I wish the organisation all the best for the future as it enters a new phase."
