A tasty-looking Yorkshire derby stands out in the draw for the First Round Proper of the FA Cup, on the proviso FC Halifax Town get through a replay.

In the draw made on Monday night, the club reformed in 2008 were drawn to be at home to play Bradford City, but first they must see off fellow non-league side Chorley.

Even a Chorley win would provide an interesting aside, with Bantams boss Phil Parkinson coming from the Lancashire town overshadowed by bigger-name local sides Bolton and Preston.

The lowest-ranked side left in the competition – Northern Division One team Shildon – will welcome local club Gateshead if they get the better of Norton in a replay.

Warrington Town, managed by Peter Reid's brother Shaun, will play host to Exeter City, while another non-league side, AFC Fylde, must make a 640-mile round trip to Plymouth Argyle.

Other notable match-ups include Maidstone United going to Stevenage for their maiden First-Round tie since reforming in 1992 and 1987 winners Coventry City welcoming Worcester City to the Ricoh Arena.

The highest-ranked team in the draw, Bristol City, must go to Gillingham, while Burton Albion will head to Barnsley and Morecambe have a long journey ahead to either Eastbourne or Dover.
