Jamie Paterson has been voted the latest FA Cup Player of the Round

Nottingham Forest striker Jamie Paterson has been voted the latest FA Cup with Budweiser Player of the Round, following his hat-trick against West Ham earlier this month.

The 22-year-old’s second-half treble was instrumental in Forest’s 5-0 routing of their Premier League visitors and it helped set up a Fourth Round tie against Preston on Friday.

Paterson received 72 per cent of the public vote, ahead of Sheffield United’s Ryan Flynn, Rochdale’s Ian Henderson and Huddersfield Town’s Joe Lolley, who was the match-winner for former club Kidderminster Harriers.

Paterson will now receive a commemorative Player of the Round trophy and will be invited to The FA Cup Final in May as a guest of Budweiser and The FA, should Forest not get to Wembley.
