Gillingham and Millwall have been fined and warned as to future conduct

Gillingham and Millwall have been fined £4,000 and £2,750 respectively and warned as to their future conduct following their game on 19 December 2015.

Both clubs were charged under FA Rule E20(a) for allegedly failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion during first-half stoppage time. The cases were considered ‘non-standard’ due to both clubs having committed similar breaches of FA Rule E20(a) within the preceding 12 months.

Millwall accepted the charge while the charge against Gillingham, which the club denied, was found proven following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing on Tuesday 26 January 2016.
