Mayling pounces late as England Women's U20s down Brazil

Sarah Mayling scored the winner against Brazil

Substitute Sarah Mayling scored an 89th-minute winner as England Women’s Under-20s recorded a famous win over Brazil in the NTC Invitational tournament.

Mayling replaced Carla Humphrey just before the hour and settled the match in the dying embers.

The tournament is taking place in Los Angeles and Mo Marley’s side are facing three teams who have qualified for the FIFA Women’s U20s World Cup – Brazil, South Korea and host nation USA.

Their second match is against USA in the early hours of Saturday morning.
