England Under-18s lose by 3-0 against South Korea in Suwon

England Under-18s ended their season with a 3-0 defeat against South Korea on Sunday.

Neil Dewsnip’s side had remained unbeaten in four games this term, prior to their trip east, to offer the squad a different experience of playing against non-European opposition.

And after losing 2-0 against their hosts in Icheon last Friday, the Young Lions found themselves behind to an early goal in the fourth minute when captain Lee Seung-Woo put South Korea in front.

It remained that way until the second half, when South Korea added two goals in eight minutes through defender Lee Sang Min in the 57th minute and then substitute Cho Young Wook struck after 65 minutes to complete the scoring.
