Steve Cooper will be in charge of England Under-17s this season
The England Under-17s squad for the St. George’s Park Tournament later this month has been named by new head coach Steve Cooper.

Cooper has named a 19-man squad for the first three games of the season, which see the Young Lions up against Italy, Portugal and Turkey in late August.

With the first Qualifying Round of the UEFA Euro Championship coming up in October, the competition will provide Cooper with a chance to get his players together and start preparations for the season ahead.

They then face Turkey at Walsall’s Banks’s Stadium two days later before the final match with Portugal takes place at Burton Albion’s Pirelli Stadium on Sunday 30 August.
