England U16s share the spoils after six-goal thriller

England Under-16s and USA played out a six-goal thriller at St. George’s Park on Wednesday.

The game, the pair’s second meeting in three days, ended 3-3 as Dan Micciche’s Young Lions completed an entertaining double-header against their counterparts from across the pond.

Reading’s Danny Loader scored two of England’s three goals – in the 19th and 59th minute.

Ryan Sessegnon celebrates his strike

Ryan Sessegnon of Fulham got the third with 19 minutes remaining and the game ended all square.

As with the previous contest – which ended 2-2 – USA won the practice penalty shoot-out.
