England U17 squad announced for Elite Round

England U17 squad named

John Peacock has named his 18-man England U17 squad for the European Championship Elite Qualifying Round.

The Young Lions travel to Czech Republic later this month to face the host nation, Albania and Italy as they try to secure a spot at the Championships in Malta this summer.

Issy Brown, Dominic Solanke and Adam Armstrong return to the squad after missing the Algarve Tournament, as does captain Ryan Ledson.

Taylor Moore, Callum Connolly and Josh Sims keep their places in the squad after impressing last month in Portugal.

Only top spot in the four-team group will be enough to seal a place at the Euros.
