England to take on world champions Germany

Friday 10 Jul 2015
The game will take place at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin

England will face Germany in Berlin on Saturday 26 March 2016.

Roy Hodgson’s men will travel to the Olympic Stadium in the German capital over the Easter period, with the kick-off time still to be confirmed.

Subject to qualification which could theoretically be confirmed this September, the fixture against the world champions will form part of England’s preparation for the UEFA EURO 2016 finals in France next summer.

The last meeting with Germany came at Wembley Stadium in November 2013 and March’s fixture will be the first trip to Berlin since November 2008, during which England won 2-1.

Ticket details for the match will be confirmed to England Supporters Travel Club members in due course.

This latest confirmation forms part of England’s planned schedule to face Europe’s elite sides as was announced by The FA last November here.
