The FA were represented at the 2026 Women's Football Awards in London

It was a standout evening for the FA at the Women’s Football Awards on Thursday 7 May 2026, with success across the game for both on and off-pitch achievements.

Among the major honours was FA Chair Debbie Hewitt MBE receiving the Women’s Football Champion award in recognition of her leadership and ongoing advocacy to elevate the women’s game across the world.

There was also deserved recognition for our very own Rachel Pavlou – one of the pioneers and trailblazers of the modern women’s game as she received the Off the Pitch award, which celebrates a “hero who has shown dedication and passion for improving the beautiful game for women” – a fitting tribute to her longstanding impact on the sport and everything she has given to it.

For the second year running, the Lionesses’ content team won Best on Social for their outstanding coverage of UEFA EURO 2025, where England made history by becoming back-to-back European champions.

There was also individual recognition for several members of the wider FA and England family. Arsenal and England forward Michelle Agyemang was named Rising Star, while Manchester United captain and England defender Maya Le Tissier picked up the Young Player of the Year award following another impressive season.

Off the pitch, Adobe was recognised as Brand of the Year for its sponsorship and support of the Women’s FA Cup, reflecting the positive impact the partnership continues to have on the game’s most prestigious domestic cup competition.
