Simone Eligon once again proved the shootout hero for Chatham Town in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup second round as they produced another upset with victory over Exeter City.
The Chats twice came from behind on the road thanks to two stunning long-range efforts from Ellie Jeffkins to draw 2-2.
Having beaten tier three’s AFC Wimbledon on penalties in the first round proper, they once more defeated a side in the division above in the shootout, winning 4-3 as Eligon produced two excellent saves to put their name in the hat for the third round.
Mancunian Unity and Dartford, who compete in tier five, also produced FA Cup upsets to advance in the competition.
Dartford defeated tier four outfit Keynsham Town 2-1 thanks to first-half strikes from Mya Lewis-Powell and Abbey Davies.
Mancunian Unity achieved victory by the same margin over Durham Cestria who also compete a tier above them in Division One North.
Unity came from behind as Elizabeth Ince levelled from the spot before Sadie Mitchell’s parried shot was turned into the goal for the winner in the 76th minute.
Royston Town enjoyed a penalty shootout upset as they defeated Bridgwater United 4-2 on penalties having drawn 1-1 in normal time, while Leafield Athletic also beat Worcester City on penalties.
Wolverhampton Wanderers ensured there would be no such shocks in the round’s televised fixture as the home favourites defeated Stoke City 2-0 at the SEAH Stadium.
Despite scores being tied at half time, a stunner from prolific FA Cup goalscorer Beth Merrick put Wolves ahead on 74 minutes before Racheal Quigley secured their progression at the death.

In Sunday’s early kick-off it was Oxford United who earned progression as Holly Manders’ brace helped them to a 3-1 victory at home to Luton Town.
They will enter the hat alongside Altrincham who made club history by reaching the third round with a 1-0 win against Ponteland United.
AFC Bournemouth earnt a dominant 7-1 victory away at Leyton Orient, with Sophie Quirk bagging a brace to aid them to their impressive total.
Hull City triumphed by the same emphatic margin away at Stourbridge thanks to Hope Knight’s four-goal haul.
There were also comprehensive wins for London Bees, who beat Portishead Town 5-0, and Burnley, who won 4-0 at home to Norwich City.
Elsewhere, Lewes ran out 4-0 winners against Cheltenham Town, Derby County came from behind to beat Stockport County 4-1 and AFC Fylde defeated Kidderminster Harriers 4-0.
A West Yorkshire derby between Leeds United and Huddersfield Town saw the Whites earn local bragging rights and a place in the hat for the third round with 3-1 victory at the Stafflex Arena.
Fulham overcame Bristol Rovers by the same scoreline on the road while Liverpool Feds saw off Boldmere St. Michaels 5-0 to secure their progression.
Middlesbrough took a decisive 3-0 victory against Northampton Town, Sporting Khalsa defeated Hednesford Town 2-0 and West Bromwich Albion beat Cambridge United 2-0.
Annie Colston’s hat-trick helped ensure Swindon Town progressed while York City, Plymouth Argyle and Sutton United also won.
Peterborough United’s tie with Wallsend, Watford’s tie with Saltdean United and AFC Portchester's clash with Worthing were all postponed.
