EURO 2020: additional allocation

We're pleased to confirm that we've received an additional allocation of tickets to England matches at EURO 2020

Thursday 20 Feb 2020
Please read our update carefully

We're currently in the process of reviewing the allocation offered by UEFA and cleansing the data submitted by members on the waiting list however, we envisage being able to assist the majority of members on it.

We'll provide an update on this website and via email next week which will detail the number of tickets offered by UEFA, the allocation process for these tickets and the mechanism to purchase. If you've submitted your details on the waiting list, please do not contact the Travel Club team for the outcome; you'll need to wait for the full update next week and follow our instructions carefully.

Waiting list

The waiting list is now closed for members whilst we review the data. We've noted that a number of fans have submitted invalid FAN numbers and duplicate requests so these need to be examined and amended accordingly.

We've also noted that some members have submitted their 'all time' caps total on the waiting list but we'd like to remind you that only 'active' caps are counted.

Members on the waiting list are urged to check the price of tickets and ensure they have sufficient funds available to purchase any that they're offered.

UEFA's General Public Sale

We're aware that yesterday, UEFA offered some fans (of all nations) the opportunity to secure tickets via an additional General Public Sale. To be clear, these tickets do not form part of The FA's allocation and therefore supporters may have been selected at random by UEFA to purchase tickets.

Furthermore, we do not control of have access to UEFA's ticketing portal so we do not know what the issue was in terms of some fans purchasing tickets and then being issued with a refund.

It is entirely up to those on the waiting list to decide whether or not they wish to wait for the result of the Travel Club's additional allocation or opt to purchase directly through UEFA.

If you choose to buy tickets directly through UEFA, you will not be able to apply for the same tickets (or match) again via the Travel Club's waiting list. The ticket policy for the tournament remains one (1) ticket per person, per match. You will not be offered the chance to swap any tickets acquired through UEFA for tickets via the Travel Club.

Non-members

Unfortunately, if you're not a member of the Travel Club, you're not eligible to apply for any of the Travel Club's additional tickets. The 2018-2020 Travel Club membership is closed and will not re-open for the remainder of the membership period. If you're a non-member, your best bet for tickets is UEFA's General Public Sale and their re-sale platform closer to the tournament.

Already have tickets?

I've you've already been allocated tickets via the Travel Club, unfortunately you will not be able to swap what you've been allocated for any tickets that have become available via the further allocation.

In addition, if you you were allocated some tickets via the initial ballot but require further tickets for other matches, you will need to wait until we have resolved the issues for those on the waiting list.

It will not be possible for us to facilitate seating requests for members who were allocated tickets during the original ballot with anyone who acquires tickets through the additional allocation.
