England MU18s made it two wins from two on their Euro road trip, with a hard-fought win over Slovakia’s U19 team.

A second-half goal from Arsenal striker and captain Sam Greenwood was enough to seal the victory for Ian Foster’s side at NTC Senec in what was a tough challenge for the Young Lions against a physical Slovakian team.

But England kept their cool and tried to play their football in a game which proved something of a stop-start affair throughout.

The squad will now head over another border into Austria, where they will play their third and final game of the month on Wednesday.

They came into this game on the back of an equally impressive 5-2 win over Poland on Friday.
