Ella Rutherford and Grace Neville have been quizzing their U19 squad mates

Hello guys and welcome to our show, On The Ball, when we'll ask you a few questions. All we ask is that you're honest and impartial!

First up, can you talk us through your first England call-up. Emily Symes?

ES: So, my first England call-up was for the U15s and I was on standby, so I hadn't made it yet! The call-up was because someone was injured and would I like to come along and, I said yeah! That was it, so I went off to the camp, smashed it and here I am!

Now for Palmer! Who is your most influential player?

AP: I think that is Jordan Nobbs for me, because growing up there wasn't that many female figures in the game and that was who I looked up to as she was in my position. I have played against her, when I was at Bristol and we played against Arsenal. Coming up against her was pretty mad.

Emily Ramsey, can you tell me your favourite moment in an England shirt please?

ER: Probably was going to the World Cup with the U20s. I didn't actually play, but the whole experience was just sick when we got there. We played against some of the top teams and players who now have played in the senior World Cup.

So, Smudge, what was your debut and who did you play against?

OS: My debut was against Lithuania and it was a Euro Qualifier. I remember getting called up when I was in the car on the way to training and I actually cried! I came on against Lithuania and I thought we can't conceded now. It was emotional and I actually shared a roome with Palmer, when I didn't know her or the group so it was nice. It was also emotional because my dad was there.

Olivia Smith was put to the test by her squad-mates

Between the room-mates that are here, what are the most annoying habits?

AP: Basically, sometimes this one [Emily Symes] sleep talks. I remember she was once talking about chicken nuggets!

ES: When Aimee gets a video message on her phone, it's at max volume! That's all I can hear!

ER: Smudge is like the loudest eater...

OS: Sometimes I actually think there's a man in the room because she burps!

Best dancer?
