We’re pleased to announce that Mark Bullingham will take up his new role as CEO from Thursday 1 August 2019, following the announcement of his appointment in March.
Mark succeeds Martin Glenn, who announced he would step down from the role in December.
Chairman Greg Clarke said of Mark’s appointment: "Mark has played a key role in the recent success of The FA and under his leadership the organisation will continue to break new ground.
"I know Mark and his qualities well. He is undoubtedly the best person to lead The FA as we head into an exciting new era.
"On behalf of the Board of The FA, I would like to thank Martin for building and leading a senior management team that has transformed our organisation.
"His integrity, commitment, energy and passion for football has underpinned the improvements on and off the pitch. The resulting commercial success has funded hugely significant change in the women’s game, St. George’s Park, the FA Cup and the national teams."
