England striker Katie Robinson scored twice to put her side 2-0 up against Azerbaijan

England Women’s U17s kept their impressing goalscoring form going in their second game of this week’s Euro qualifiers, with a 7-0 victory over Azerbaijan.

After beating Moldova by 6-0 earlier in the week, Gemma Grainger’s team went one further in Vadul lui Voda on Saturday afternoon.

Katie Robinson got things going when she struck the Lionesses ahead after 19 minutes before adding a second nine minutes later.

And then Isobel Goodwin made it 3-0 at the break, with the first of her two goals in the game.

Ruby Grant made it four just after the hour mark, before Goodwin added her second goal in the 73rd minute.

Gemma Grainger's squad have won two out of two in Euro Qualifying this week

And there was a late flourish for England too, as an own goal from Parvin Safaraliyeva in the 81st minute made it six before Eleanor Hack completed the scoring in stoppage time.

England will now be looking to make it three wins from three in their group when they take on Iceland on Tuesday afternoon (1pm).
