Harry Kane says England will savour the feeling they got after beating Spain in Seville.

The Three Lions captain played a crucial role in the 3-2 victory, creating goals for both Marcus Rashford and Raheem Sterling in a thrilling first-half performance.

And as well as showing their ruthlessness in attack, the Spurs man was equally impressed with how England dealt with Spain’s second-half pressure.

“It was amazing,” he said.

“Spain are probably one of the best teams in the world right now but we knew we could beat them.

“It was a great performance, some great goals from Raz and Rash and we deserved it.

“We played well against them at Wembley last month but didn’t take our chances but here we came out of the blocks firing, with great pressing, great balls and great goals.

“We knew the second half was going to be tough but we defended well, soaked up the pressure and we were relieved to hear the whistle in the end.

“It shows how tough it is to come here and win, and we’ve done that so we’re going to enjoy this.”

Even though the 25-year-old wasn’t on the scoresheet himself, he admits he’s more than happy to keep providing the ammunition for others.

His hold-up and link play in Seville proved a crucial part in England’s clinical display and Kane believes the work he does aside from goalscoring often isn’t highlighted.

“People always talk about goals and that if I don’t score, then I don’t play well,” he added.

“But there’s been plenty of games in my career where I’ve had good games and contributed to the team and that’s the most important thing for me.

“Of course I love scoring goals, but winning feels even better and I had a couple of assists today which were great.”

England are back in action at Wembley next month in their final games of 2018, with USA visiting on Thursday 15 November and then Croatia in town for the final Nations League group match on Sunday 18 November.
