England's players reported to St. George's Park on Monday afternoon as they kick-start their preparations for this week's Wembley double against USA and Croatia.

The Three Lions squad was named by boss Gareth Southgate last week for the final two matches of 2018, starting with the Wayne Rooney Foundation International against the Stars and Stripes on Thursday.

It's then onto the final UEFA Nations League game, with Croatia providing the opposition on Sunday afternoon.

And there was something of a reunion feel as the players arrived at the national football centre, with former captain Rooney among the first to arrive for what will be his final time in an England shirt on Thursday.

The players then had a light training session, with recovery from the weekend's games proving important before Rooney had chance to get his boots back on to practise his shooting on the Sir Bobby Charlton pitch.

Meanwhile. Kieran Trippier has withdrawn from the squad. The right-back sustained a groin injury during Tottenham Hotspur’s win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Trippier was one of 27 players to report to St. George’s Park on Monday but, following assessment over the last 24 hours, it was decided that he’ll return to his club to continue rehabilitation.

Of Southgate’s original 28-man squad, Arsenal’s Danny Welbeck is the only other withdrawal having undergone operations on his ankle following an injury incurred against Sporting CP in the UEFA Europa League last Thursday.

Tickets for both the USA game this Thursday and next Sunday's match with Croatia are still available at a variety of price points. Why not come along and see the Three Lions in action for the last time in 2018?
