Hello everyone, I hope you’re having a fantastic day.
I just wanted to thank everyone for your incredible support through what’s been an incredible year for us.
It feels like it’s been a year of great progress for the team. The team has got younger and we’ve seen lots of exciting, young talent come into it.
Our experienced players have played a crucial part in the team progressing.
We had a wonderful summer in terms of getting to the latter stages of the World Cup, with some incredible memories, incredible moments through the summer in terms of getting through a knockout game for the first time in over ten years, winning our first penalty shootout and getting to our first semi-final for 20 years.
So, really, incredible memories for all of us. But even more importantly for us now is the progress since the Finals and proving to people that we’re not taking our foot off the gas and we’re not complacent.
We want to keep improving and getting better and we now have another semi-final to look forward to and a qualifying campaign towards a European Championship which can predominately be played at Wembley if we perform well.
So I hope you’re as excited as we are by it and I wish you all a great festive season and I look forward to seeing you in the new year.
