Hat-trick hero Karl Parker scored twice in extra-time to give Horley Town a thrilling 3-2 win over Erith & Belvedere in their Buildbase FA Vase first round replay on Tuesday night.

Owen Price looked to have snatched victory when he scored a penalty for Erith & Belvedere in the 83rd minute only for Parker to level in the 91st minute.

In extra-time it was Parker who gave Horley the lead before Chris McGinty levelled for the visitors only for the striker to grab his third to seal his side’s place in the second round.

Elsewhere, Jordan Nelson scored twice as Leicester Nirvana beat AFC Wulfrunians 4-1 to secure a second round tie against Eastwood Community.

Wulfrunians reached the fourth round two seasons ago but fell behind when Shaquille Masters’ long free-kick put Nirvana ahead in the 43rd minute.

Nelson doubled Leicester’s lead in first-half stoppage time before Jake Webb pulled a goal back for Wulfrunians after clever link up play with Nicky Turton.

But two goals in three minutes from Celson Patrocinio and Nelson, with an excellent 20-yard strike, moved Nirvana 4-1 ahead and saw them book their place in the second round.

Thetford Town will face Wisbech Town in the next round after overcoming Debenham LC with two goals inside two first-half minutes in their first round replay.

Elsewhere, Horndean goalkeeper Tom Price saved a first-half penalty to help his side to a narrow 1-0 win away at Portland United in their replay.

Jack Maloney eventually got the winning goal in the 81st minute as a short corner routine allowed him to fire home and book a second round tie against Royal Wootton Bassett Town.

Finally, Runcorn Linnets beat Team Northumbria 3-2, Hullbridge Sports progressed with a 1-0 win at Colney Heath with Cogenhoe United also through after a 1-0 victory over London Colney.
