England’s Futsal team are back in action again next month when they host neighbours Wales at St. George’s Park.

It will be a first Futsal home game in over 18 months for Michael Skubala’s squad, who will take on their rivals twice across the weekend of 4 and 5 November.

  • 4pm Sunday 5 November

And Skubala is expecting a firm test for his side against an improving Welsh side, who actually beat England by 6-2 in their last meeting in December 2016.

“It’s great to be able to kick-start the international calendar with a home game,” said Skubala.

“We’re hoping it gives people a chance to come and see a competitive game of Futsal on home soil.”

England’s last outings came at the end of last season, when they put in some impressive displays in China, beating their hosts by 5-0, then seeing off Malaysia by the same score before they lost to a strong and experienced Czech Republic side.

The double-header will be the first fixtures for Skubala at St George’s Park, after taking over from Pete Sturgess last season.

On top of the international games, each day will be supported by showcase Futsal matches to give spectators a flavour of the sport.

Tickets are on sale now at just £5 (adult) and £3 (concession & U16) and the games will take place at St Georges Park on Saturday 4 November (6pm KO) and Sunday 5 November (4pm KO).
