Jake Livermore has been added to the England squad following the withdrawal of Harry Kane and Harry Winks through injury.

The West Bromwich Albion midfielder linked up with the Three Lions at St. George’s Park on Monday evening. Winks and Kane underwent assessment at Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the day and have now been ruled out of the forthcoming games against Germany and Brazil.

Livermore’s call-up follows that of Everton defender Michael Keane on Monday morning, with Dele Alli the other omission from Gareth Southgate’s original 25-man group.

Updated squad:

Tammy Abraham, Ryan Bertrand, Jack Butland, Gary Cahill, Fabian Delph, Eric Dier, Joe Gomez, Joe Hart, Jordan Henderson, Phil Jones, Michael Keane, Jesse Lingard, Jake Livermore, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Harry Maguire, Jordan Pickford, Marcus Rashford, Danny Rose, Raheem Sterling, John Stones, Kieran Trippier, Jamie Vardy, Kyle Walker, Ashley Young

England face Germany on Friday 10 November before hosting Brazil four days later, on Tuesday 14 November. Tickets for both games start at £20 for adults and £10 for children via TheFA.com/Tickets.
