FA Youth Cup holders Chelsea face Newcastle or Spurs in last four

Chelsea have won The FA Youth Cup for the last three years in a row

Holders Chelsea will face either Newcastle United or Tottenham Hotspur in the semi-final of The FA Youth Cup.

Jody Morris’s young Blues edged Leicester City on Wednesday night to book a spot in the last four for the eighth year in a row.

Aston Villa or last season’s runners-up Manchester City will take on either Preston North End or Stoke City in the other semi-final.

Villa and City face-off in the quarter final next Wednesday while the remaining two ties will take place on Monday 27 February.

The first leg of the semi-finals will take place by Saturday 18 March with the second leg taking place by Saturday 8 April.

Semi-final first leg:

Aston Villa or Manchester City v Preston North End or Stoke City
Newcastle United or Tottenham Hotspur v Chelsea

Semi-final second leg:

Preston North End or Stoke City v Aston Villa or Manchester City
Chelsea v Newcastle United or Tottenham Hotspur
