Grassroots footballers across the country can still join the record-breaking number of teams and players involved in this year's FA People's Cup.
Over 5000 teams and more than 8000 extra players than previous years have already confirmed their place for the nationwide five-a-side competition, which is run in partnership with BBC Get Inspired, which means there's going to be a high standard of competition across the country in all of the categories.
And the closing date for teams to sign up to the free-to-enter competition is Sunday 19 February, so if you’re involved with a local team who fancy their chances on a national stage then now is the time to lay down the challenge with the first round taking place the following weekend.
There are 16 categories, both male and female, ranging from U14s through to veterans (over-35s) which include walking football and disability categories.
Players can register as part of an established team or as an individual who can join 'wild card' teams that are formed prior to the tournament starting over the weekend of Friday 24 to Sunday 26 February.
Once registrations are completed, the competition will take place over three rounds: the first round, the semi-finals and the finals.
The People’s Cup is now in its third season, having seen almost 70,000 players taking part in the previous editions, with the winners from each category of the finals in Sheffield all invited to watch The Emirates FA Cup Final at Wembley.
And that could be YOU, as it’s hoped more players than ever will sign up for a very real opportunity of tasting cup glory - so make sure you’ve got your name on the teamsheet!
