Bobby's brace completes comeback for Enfield Town in first round qualifying

Saturday 29 Oct 2016

Bobby Devyne scored twice in two minutes as Enfield Town came from two goals down to beat Canvey Island 3-2 in The Buildbase FA Trophy first round qualifying.

The visitors were in cruise control at the break thanks to a brace from George Sykes, but midfielder Billy Crook gave the home side hope in the 71st minute with a well-taken strike.

Canvey Island looked like they were going to hold on and book their place in the next round until Devyne scored his first in the 88th minute.

And just when thoughts turned to a replay, the former Chelsea academy player grabbed a winner less than a minute later to cue wild celebrations.

Joe Jackson scored a hat-trick as South Park edged an entertaining game 4-3 at Faversham Town.
