Shaw Lane continued their incredible run in The Buildbase FA Trophy by knocking out Nantwich Town 3-1 to reach the first round proper.

Having already knocked out opponents in the league above them twice so far in the competition, they repeated the trick against the 10-man Dabbers.

Gavin Allott headed the Ducks in front before Sean Cooke levelled the scores with a direct free-kick.

A deflected Andy Gascoigne effort put the hosts back in front and Allott’s second secured victory after Josh Hancock had been shown a red card.

Farsley Celtic were seconds away from an upset against Tamworth but Dan Newton’s late goal earned a replay in a 2-2 draw.

James Walshaw had given Celtic the lead before Steve Tomassen drew Tamworth level with a half volley.

Jacob Hazel thought he had the winner when he curled the ball into the top-left corner from 25 yards out but Newton equalised in the fourth minute of added time.

Ten-man Stocksbridge Park Steels also battled to a replay with a 2-2 draw against a side two leagues above them in Stalybridge Celtic, who had Aidan O’Brien sent off.

The Steels were reduced to 10 men early on with Aiden Chippendale putting Celtic ahead after 20 minutes but Scott Rothven levelled on half-time. Danny Wilkins put the visitors ahead again but Harrison Biggins equalised after the hour mark.

North Leigh will be in the draw for the first round for the first time in their history after Aaron Woodley’s goal saw them beat Kingstonian 1-0 while Michael Clunan was the hero for King’s Lynn Town as he earned his side a 1-0 victory over St Ives Town.

Harlow Town beat Isthmian Premier Division leaders Havant & Waterlooville 3-1 to knock them out.

Jason Prior was sent off after 42 minutes for the Hawks with Layne Eadie and Leon Antoine putting Harlow two goals to the good. Alfie Rutherford pulled one back but Alex Read sealed the victory with Harlow’s third at the death.

Hitchin Town saw off Burgess Hill Town 3-0 with goals from Robbie Burns, a penalty from Ben Walter and Calum Donnely sealing the win. Will Miles was sent off for Burgess Hill.

Winchester City were knocked out by Dulwich Hamlet with Nathan Green’s goal sending his side through and AFC Telford United are also in the hat after Connor McCarthy and Josh Wilson goals saw them beat Ramsbottom United 2-0.
