England Under-21s ended their first training session in France with a spot of shooting practice on Wednesday, as they prepare to face Portugal in their Toulon Tournament opener.

Gareth Southgate's squad trained at the Stade Bon Recontre, home of Sporting Toulon Var, and as focus turns towards Thursday's game with the Portuguese the players had a chance to sharpen their boots.

With coach Colin Cooper working alongside them, the players involved worked on a number of shooting scenarios with the likes of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Jack Grealish, Nathan Redmond, Matt Targett, Duncan Watmore, Lewis Baker, Kasey Palmer and Cauley Woodrow all producing impressive finishes.

And goalkeeper Angus Gunn was equally impressive in keeping just as many out of the net with a string of saves.
