England Women's U17s won all three elite round qualifiers

Ellie Brazil and Niamh Charles scored a goal apiece as England Women’s Under-17s defeated Belgium to make it three wins from three en route to the Euro finals.

The Young Lionesses had sealed their place at Belarus 2016 with an elite round qualifier to spare, following wins over Serbia and Iceland.

Ellie Brazil grabbed the opener against Belgium, and her second goal of the campaign, by firing home an angled finish in added time at the end of the first half.

Charles headed home Hannah Cain’s cross to complete the scoring shortly after the break. It was the Liverpool youngster’s third goal in two matches.

John Griffiths’s side could have won by a greater margin but Belgium goalkeeper Lowiese Seynhaeve saved from Taylor Hinds, Alessia Russo and Brazil.

The eight-team Finals will take place between 4-16 May.

The Lionesses finished fourth in 2013 after suffering a shootout defeat to Italy in the third-place play-off.
