England will face Iceland in the last 16 of Euro 2016 after a night of drama in Group F.

Portugal looked set to finish second going into injury time as they played out a 3-3 draw with Hungary in Lyon while Iceland were tied with Austria in Paris.

But, in the fourth minute of injury time, substitute Arnor Traustason restored the lead that Jon Bodvarsson had previously given his side before Alessandro Schopf equalised on the hour.

It had looked like Cristiano Ronaldo's double would fire Portugal into second place behind leaders Hungary, but the late turnaround leaves them in third place – albeit still with a place in the knock-out phase.

England have only faced Iceland twice before, and never in a competitive fixture. They last met in 2004, in a friendly ahead of that summer's European Championship finals, with the Three Lions running out 6-1 winners at the City of Manchester Stadium.
