Southend United manager Phil Brown will serve a four-match touchline ban after he was charged for misconduct in relation to the game against Bury on 8 May 2016.

It was alleged that on five separate occasions from the 93rd minute through to 30 minutes after the game, his language and/or behaviour was abusive and/or insulting and/or improper.

Brown admitted four of the five breaches, with the remaining breach denied. This final breach was found proven following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing on Wednesday 8 June.

Further to the touchline ban, Brown was also warned as to his future conduct and fined £3,000.
