Tottenham Hotspur striker Freddie Kanoute celebrates against Palace in 2004

Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace cross paths in the Emirates FA Cup on Sunday, as the London duo battle for a place in the sixth round proper.

The tie takes place at White Hart Lane, where the two clubs also met in the third round of The Cup back in 2004 and we've taken a look at the FATV archive for the goals from that game.

Third Round Proper

And it's one which Spurs fans will have fonder memories of, as a hat-trick from striker Freddie Kanoute secured a 3-0 victory against Iain Dowie's Eagles, who were a Championship side at the time.

Kanoute scored two of his goals in the first half before completing his treble just after the break, before the tie ended on a sour note with both teams reduced to ten men.

Spurs midfielder Gus Poyet was the first to get his marching orders, before Palace right-back Danny Butterfield followed him down the tunnel soon after.
