Ellen White has been ruled out for the rest of the season

England and Notts County forward Ellen White is likely to miss the rest of the season after fracturing her collarbone against Arsenal on Sunday.

The 27-year-old fell awkwardly after a challenge by Gunners ‘keeper Emma Byrne.

White will require surgery and has subsequently been ruled out of England’s final two Euro 2017 qualifiers.

Meanwhile, Carly Telford is due to return to the gym after tearing ankle ligaments in the 2-1 victory over Doncaster Rovers Belles at the start of the July.

The Notts County and England keeper is still some way off from taking part in full training and she may not return before the end of the season.

And Sophie Bradley, who has earned 28 England caps, underwent her third operation last week, after further complications were discovered on the knee injury she suffered in 2014.

Bradley will begin another bout of rehabilitation which could rule the centre back out for nine months.
