Magnus Norman has signed a new long-term deal with Fulham, the west London club confirmed on Thursday.

The 18-year-old goalkeeper, who penned his first professional contract a year ago, has extended his deal with the Cottagers until June 2018.

After completing the paperwork, the England Under-18s international was quick to tweet his joy.

Norman made his debut for the Young Lions in a 1-0 win over Switzerland in March before winning his second cap against Russia in Moscow in May.

The shotstopper has been at Fulham since the age of nine.

He has already tasted first-team football at Farnborough last season, and is currently on a season-long loan at Hayes & Yeading in the National League South
