Marvin Alebiosu looked to have taken the game to a replay when he equalised for Beckenham in the 90th minute, before Smith grabbed the winner just three minutes later.

On Saturday, Tom Castle and Lewis Coyle both scored twice as Kidlington thrashed Deal Town 7-0 at home, with Ryan Brooks, Anaclet Odhiambo and Kristian Thomas wrapping up a win for Kidlington as they progress through to the third round.

Seven goals were also on the scoresheet for Basildon United against Northampton Sileby Rangers, but they failed to keep a clean sheet, conceding just after half time in a 6-1 win.

Lindisipho Mytanda scored a hat-trick in just over ten minutes for Basildon with Ben Clarke, Jordan Williams, Ben Sartain and Brad Hunter also hitting the back of the net for the Bees.

Elsewhere, Eastbourne Town came from behind to clinch a thrilling 5-4 win over Greenwich Borough, as did Handsworth Parramore over Hallam FC by scoring twice in as many minutes to take the lead in a 3-2 win.

Sunderland RCA had a successful trip to West Yorkshire, winning a place in the third round with a 5-1 victory over Hemsworth MW, with their north-eastern neighbours Newton Aycliffe also bagging a 5-3 win over Colne FC.

Neither team could take the advantage in the game between AFC Mansfield and Alsager Town though, resulting in a 1-1 draw which was also the case between Nuneaton Griff and Highgate United, with those games going to a replay.

There were also nine postponements across the country, with those games scheduled to be played in the coming week. Click here for fixtures.
