Women's U23s edged out by USA in Nordic Tournament

England Women Under-23s narrowly lost to USA in the final match of the Nordic Tournament.

After being defeated by host nation Norway and Sweden in the opening two matches of the annual competition, Julie Chipchase’s side fell behind early in the second half.

Notts County midfielder Jess Sigsworth equalised just after the hour mark, but USA found another goal to clinch the victory – and win the tournament outright.
